Diamond jewelry
Natural or lab-grown. Loose or set. An engagement ring, tennis bracelet, necklace, eternity band or diamond pendant—we’ll help you explore the options and choose what works for you.
Bring a photo, a saved listing or simply an idea and a budget. In a private appointment, we’ll walk you through the stones, settings and details that make a difference.
Looking for finished lab-grown diamond jewelry? A quick call gets the search started.
Choose your piece.
Tennis bracelets
Available in every total carat weight, from an everyday bracelet to a statement piece. Choose natural or lab-grown diamonds, your preferred setting, length and gold color.
Tennis necklaces
Straight or graduated, subtle or substantial. We’ll help you choose the diamond size, total carat weight, length and setting that feel right.
Diamond eternity bands
Round or fancy-shaped diamonds, with a setting and width to suit your style. Tell us your ring size and whether you want a full eternity or partial diamond band.
Diamond drop pendants
A single diamond, a favorite shape or a custom arrangement. We’ll bring together the stones, setting and chain for the finished piece you have in mind.
Made in 14k or 18k yellow or white gold, with natural or laboratory-grown diamonds.
More than engagement rings.
Tennis bracelets and necklaces. Eternity bands. Diamond studs and drop pendants. Everyday pieces and gifts for a milestone.
We source natural and lab-grown diamond jewelry in 14k and 18k yellow or white gold, with options for different sizes, lengths and budgets.
If we don’t have it in stock, we can source it within a matter of days. Have a particular style in mind? Send us a photo or listing—we’ll help you find it or explore making it.
Natural or lab-grown? Let’s talk it through.
Both are diamonds. Their origin, rarity and pricing are different—and the right choice depends on what matters to you.
We’ll compare stones with you, explain the grading reports and show you how cut, color, clarity and size affect appearance and price.
No pressure toward one choice. Just a clear conversation about your preferences and budget.
Engagement & custom
Start with the stone, the design, or an idea. We’ll connect the pieces.
Antique diamonds
Old European cuts, old mine cuts, and antique cushions bring a different character. Let’s find one that speaks to you.
Replacement & matching
A missing stone or lost earring needs more than the nearest available diamond.
Think beyond white diamonds.
Lab-grown diamonds open up more possibilities for color. We can source yellow, orange, pink, blue, green, brown, red and purple diamonds in a range of intensities, from fancy light through fancy deep.
Whether you have a particular shade in mind or want to explore something unexpected, we’ll help you find a stone and build the design around it.
A shape you don’t see every day.
Love a kite, shield, hexagon or elongated lozenge? Looking for Cadillac side stones or a distinctive rose cut?
Explore more unusual diamond cuts
Briolette, rose, lozenge, Flanders, bullet, kite, shield, star, pentagonal, hexagonal, octagonal, Portuguese, lily, oval-step, pear-step, calf-head, capsule, Dutch marquise and Cadillac cuts. Tell us what catches your eye—we’ll discuss availability and sourcing.
Lab-grown diamonds make it more accessible to explore unusual shapes and custom cuts. We can source a distinctive center stone, find matching accents or discuss cutting possibilities for your design.
Send us your inspiration. We’ll help you explore what’s possible.
Already have the diamond?
An inherited stone, a diamond from an old setting or a piece you’re ready to redesign—we can help you make it yours.
We’ll look at what you have, talk through your ideas and create a setting that suits the stone and your style.
Custom & repurpose
Design Your Ring
Start with your style. Explore your ring ideas with our design quiz, then work with Katz Imports to bring the details together.
First, we talk. Share your inspiration, budget and how you plan to wear the piece. We’ll help you choose the stones, metal and design details.
Then, we develop the design. CAD renderings let you review the proportions and details before we move into production.
Once approved, our craftsmen on Jewelers’ Row cast, set and finish your piece. We stay close to the work throughout, keeping you informed and making sure the finished piece feels right on you.
For projects using CAD (computer-aided design), you can review images of the piece from multiple angles before it is made. We can revise the details and review the updated design together. Work begins after you approve the design.
We can use your existing diamonds and gemstones to create something you’ll wear—a ring, pendant, earrings or an entirely new design. Combine stones from several family pieces, update an old setting or give a single earring a new purpose.
A saved Instagram post, a screenshot, a sketch or an AI-generated concept—bring the inspiration you’ve collected.
Tell us what you love about it and what you’d change. We’ll help turn those ideas into a design that works for your stones, your budget and everyday wear.
With design and production here on Jewelers’ Row, we can coordinate directly with our craftsmen and often move quickly. We’ll discuss timing at the start and give you a clear expectation for your project.
Watches
Looking for a particular brand, model or reference? Tell us what you’re after. We’ll put our industry relationships to work finding the right watch for your preferences and budget.
Have a watch to sell or trade? Or one you’d love to wear again? We can help with that, too.
Have a reference number? Start there.
Already know the watch you want? Send us the reference number or a listing, along with your preferences for condition, box and papers, and budget.
Still narrowing it down? Tell us what you like. We’ll help you compare options and find a watch that suits you.
Your next watch might already be yours.
A watch that stopped running. A scratched crystal. A worn clasp—or an old Jubilee bracelet that’s developed a sag.
Our master watchmakers can assess movement service and overhaul, bracelet restoration, crystal replacement, clasp and link repairs, and case refinishing where appropriate.
We’ll explain what needs attention and discuss your preferences before work begins.
A closer look before making changes.
Original finishes, patina, and original parts can materially affect a vintage watch. Every watch can’t—or shouldn’t—be made to look new. Katz Imports can help you decide what to restore and what to preserve.
Bring any box, papers, service records, extra links, and original parts you have. No paperwork? Bring the watch anyway.
Ready for something different?
Sell a watch you no longer wear or explore trading toward your next one.
We’ll evaluate its condition, reference and current demand, then discuss your options. Box, papers and service records are helpful, but you’re welcome to start without them.
Have your next watch in mind? Tell us what you have and what you’re looking for—we’ll help connect the two.
Repairs & restoration
Bring it to Katz Imports. We’ll examine the piece, explain what needs attention and discuss the repair or restoration before work begins.
Ring sizing. Prong repair. Loose-stone tightening and replacement. Broken chains, worn clasps and thinning ring shanks.
Katz Imports also handles soldering, polishing, rhodium plating, earring repairs and pearl restringing, along with more involved restoration and reconstruction.
From re-tipping prongs to replacing a worn shank, we discuss the right approach for the piece. Laser and hand engraving are also available for jewelry and other suitable items—we confirm the material and placement first.
For estate pieces and jewelry with sentimental value, we discuss what to rebuild, preserve or repurpose before any work begins.
Watch service, repair, battery replacement and cosmetic restoration where appropriate. Originality and preservation are part of the conversation. Battery service is handled off-site; we provide a receipt and confirm cost and return timing before taking in your watch.
At Katz Imports, we find the best match for your original—considering the diamond’s size, cut, color, clarity and overall appearance, along with the setting.
Bring the remaining earring. We’ll talk through the options for making the pair complete again.
Send Katz Imports a photo or arrange an appointment to bring your piece in. We’ll discuss what’s possible, the expected cost and timing before you decide.
Professional appraisals
Katz Imports provides professional written appraisals for insurance. We’ll examine your jewelry, document its details and assess its current replacement value.
Have an older appraisal? Bring it along—we’ll review it with you and discuss what needs updating.
Previous appraisals, diamond grading reports, purchase receipts and any other documentation can help us understand your piece.
No paperwork? We can start with the jewelry itself.
Tell us which items you’d like appraised, and we’ll discuss the process, timing and fees before your appointment.
“What would it cost to replace this?” and “What could I sell it for?” are two different questions.
A professional insurance appraisal documents replacement value. A resale valuation considers what your piece could bring in the current market.
Rising gold prices and a changing diamond market are good reasons to revisit older appraisals. Some pieces may cost more to replace today; others may warrant a lower replacement value.
An updated appraisal can help you avoid being underinsured—or give you a basis to discuss potential premium savings with your insurer. A rise in gold prices alone doesn’t mean your entire piece has doubled in value. We’ll assess the jewelry as a whole.
Insurance replacement
Did a side stone fall out of your mounting? A missing earring? A damaged ring or a watch that needs replacing?
Katz Imports can help you find a suitable replacement or explore whether your existing piece can be repaired or restored.
Bring any appraisals, grading reports, photographs or details from your insurer. We’ll work through the options with you, paying attention to the qualities that made the original yours.
Replacing a missing stone means considering how it looks beside the others—its size, shape, cut, color and overall appearance.
At Katz Imports, we find the best match and examine the mounting to see whether worn prongs or other damage also need attention.
Some damaged pieces can be repaired or restored. Others may need a replacement stone or a custom reconstruction. Tell us what matters about the original piece, and we’ll explore the options.
Share any requirements from your insurer, and we’ll discuss sourcing, repair or custom options, along with expected costs and timing.
Gemstones, chains, bands & engraving
Gemstones
Sapphires, rubies, emeralds and harder-to-find colored stones, across shapes, sizes and colors—with or without grading reports. Source a loose stone, match gemstones for earrings, replace a stone or build an engagement ring or custom design around color.
Men’s & women’s chains
Men’s and women’s chains, sourced directly from the manufacturer in 10k, 14k or 18k yellow, white or rose gold, plus platinum and sterling silver.
Tell us the link style, millimeter width, length and metal you want—or send a photo if you don’t know the name.
We’ll help you find the right chain and confirm pricing and availability.
Wedding bands
We do more than women’s wedding and eternity bands. Katz Imports also sources men’s wedding bands directly from the manufacturer.
Classic or textured. Polished or brushed. Your preferred profile, millimeter width, ring size and karat.
Tell us what you have in mind and when you need it. We’ll confirm pricing and timing, with fast turnaround available.
Laser & hand engraving
Initials, dates and personal messages on rings, jewelry and other suitable items. We’ll help choose the approach, lettering and placement, and confirm what works for the material.
Estate jewelry
We primarily buy estate jewelry. We can also source a particular period, maker or style through our jewelry relationships. For inherited or signed pieces, explore the selling guide below for preservation, restoration, written appraisals, consignment and auction options.
GIA diamond grading
Through Katz Imports, you can arrange to have your diamond submitted to GIA for grading or an updated grading report. We’ll help determine the appropriate service and handle the submission. GIA performs the grading.
A current report can provide useful documentation when selling your diamond or obtaining an insurance appraisal. A grading report describes the diamond’s characteristics; it is not a valuation or a substitute for an appraisal.
Cost and timing are confirmed individually before submission. Grading fees depend on the diamond’s carat weight and the service required. Turnaround is typically two to three weeks, depending on GIA’s current workload and seasonal demand.
Bring your diamond & report.
Tell us whether you are considering a sale, reviewing insurance documentation or simply want to understand your diamond. Bring it as-is; we’ll discuss the appropriate submission and any preparation needed.

The piece comes
before the scale.
The maker, stones, craftsmanship, condition and history can matter as much as the metal.
We’ll help you understand what you have and discuss selling, consignment, auction placement for qualifying pieces, restoration, repurposing or keeping it. You decide.
YOUR VALUATION
A clear process. No pressure.
One piece, a partial silver set or an entire inherited collection.

We explain what we see and the paths worth considering.
No obligation to sell. Immediate payment if you accept our offer.

Diamonds
We’re diamond people. There’s a difference. With decades of diamond wholesale experience, we evaluate the stone itself and explain your options.
Loose diamonds, diamond rings and other diamond jewelry are welcome—with or without grading reports. Leave mounted stones in their settings and bring everything as-is.
The diamond itself matters.
Carat weight is only part of the picture. Color, clarity, cut, proportions, condition and appearance all contribute to a diamond’s value.
We also consider the setting, jewelry manufacturer and craftsmanship.
Antique diamonds deserve a closer look.
As lab-grown diamonds become more common, rare natural antique diamonds stand apart for their history, character and original cutting styles.
We actively seek old European cuts, old mine cuts and antique cushions. Our diamond wholesale experience and relationships with buyers who appreciate these stones can allow us to pay more than a buyer who treats them like an ordinary diamond.
Bring yours in—even without a grading report—and let us take a look.
Natural or lab-grown? We’ll help you find out.
Katz Imports has access to advanced diamond-testing equipment that can quickly determine whether your stone is natural or laboratory-grown—free of charge.
We’ll explain what you have, how that affects its value and the options available. No pressure to sell.
With or without a report.
Have a GIA report, old appraisal, receipt or other paperwork? Bring it along. No documentation? We can still take a look.
Loose or mounted diamonds are welcome. Leave stones in their settings—we’ll discuss any preparation needed.
An insurance appraisal reflects replacement value, which differs from what a buyer may pay today. We’ll help you understand that distinction.
Could a GIA report help?
For a larger diamond, an up-to-date GIA grading report can help establish its characteristics, give buyers confidence and put you in a stronger position when selling.
Katz Imports can arrange submission to GIA for grading. We’ll discuss whether a new or updated report makes sense for your diamond and confirm the cost and timing individually before submission.
Sell. Consign. Repurpose. Keep.
An immediate sale is one option. For a rare or exceptional diamond, a unique piece of jewelry or a signed piece from a major jewelry house, consignment or auction may be worth considering.
And if the stone means something to you, Katz Imports can help turn it into a piece you’ll enjoy wearing—or you can keep it exactly as it is.
We’ll discuss the options. You decide what feels right.
Gold & precious metals
Our family has been buying precious metals since the mid-1970s. Gold jewelry, platinum, scrap and broken pieces—any condition is welcome.
You don’t need to know the karat, identify a stamp or sort everything first. Bring what you have for a free verbal valuation. Zero obligation. Immediate payment available.
Gold in any condition.
We buy 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K and 24K gold—yellow, white and rose—as well as platinum, coins, bullion, scrap and broken jewelry.
Not sure what you have? You have nothing to lose—bring it in. We’ll check the markings and metal content and explain what we find.
We buy platinum, too.
Platinum rings, bands, jewelry and scrap are welcome, including broken pieces.
You may see markings such as “PLAT,” “PT950” or “950 PLAT.” Unsure what a stamp means? Bring it in and let Katz Imports take a look.
The whole piece matters.
Metal content, weight and current market prices help determine an offer. But the diamonds, gemstones, jewelry manufacturer, craftsmanship and condition may give your jewelry value beyond its metal content.
Not everything should be melted. We’ll evaluate the whole piece and discuss whether selling, consigning, restoring or repurposing makes sense for you.
Sterling silver
That unused flatware or silver tea set may be worth more than you think.
Complete sets, partial sets and individual sterling pieces are welcome. Bring everything as-is—there’s no need to polish or sort it first.
Yes, we want the flatware.
Complete sets, partial sets and individual forks, knives, spoons and serving pieces are welcome.
We also buy sterling bowls, trays, platters, tea and coffee sets, pitchers, goblets, vases, candlesticks and other decorative sterling.
Bring everything as-is. We handle the processing work.
Sterling or silverplate?
Stamped “925,” “.925” or “Sterling”? It has value. A foreign hallmark or unfamiliar marking? Let Katz Imports determine whether it’s sterling silver.
Silverplate has a layer of silver over another metal. Some pieces also have weighted bases, filled handles or steel blades, so the total weight doesn’t tell the whole story.
You don’t need to figure it out yourself. Don’t dismantle or polish anything—bring it as-is.
Is it worth more as a set?
Some sterling is worth more than its silver content. The manufacturer, pattern, condition, completeness and demand can all make a difference.
We look at the entire set before discussing your options. Keep matching pieces together and bring any original cases or paperwork you have.
You don’t have to sell it.
Inherited silver can carry memories as well as value. A free verbal valuation helps you understand what you have without committing to anything.
One piece or an entire silver collection—bring what you have. We’ll take a look, explain its value and discuss your options.
House calls available.
Have a large collection of gold and diamond jewelry or silver flatware? Difficulty getting to Jewelers’ Row, or simply prefer not to travel into town with your valuables? Ask about a free, zero-obligation verbal valuation at home.
We’ll start with a phone conversation and may request photos before arranging an appointment. No need to pack everything up before speaking with us.
Estate & signed jewelry
The jewelry manufacturer, diamonds, gemstones, craftsmanship and history can make a piece worth more than its weight in gold or platinum.
Look beyond the obvious.
We consider the jewelry manufacturer, period, craftsmanship, condition, diamonds, gemstones, rarity and history—not just the metal.
Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and David Webb are familiar names, but valuable jewelry doesn’t always carry a name you recognize. Signatures and hallmarks deserve a closer look.
A piece doesn’t have to be your style to have value. Let us take a look before you dismiss it.
The right way to sell your piece.
Selling directly to Katz Imports may be the right fit. For rare, exceptional or signed jewelry, consignment or auction may be another option.
We can discuss potential placement through our relationships with major national auction houses, considering the piece and your goals.
Sell it, consign it or keep it. We’ll explain the options—you decide.
Bring it as-is.
Before repairing, polishing or changing estate jewelry, let us take a look. Original details and condition can matter.
Bring any boxes, receipts, appraisals, grading reports or family history you have. No paperwork? That’s okay, too.
Some pieces benefit from restoration or a new design; others are best preserved. We’ll discuss what makes sense for yours.
Keeping your jewelry? We also provide professional written appraisals for insurance, a separate service from our free verbal valuations.
Watch buying
We evaluate Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Omega, Breitling, Tudor and other fine watches.
The model, reference, age, condition, original components, service history and current demand all help determine value.
Bring any original box, warranty card, receipts, service records, extra links, hang tags or original parts you have.
These details can help us evaluate your watch, but you don’t need a complete set to get started. The watch itself is the place to begin.
Coins, bullion & U.S. currency
A few coins, an inherited collection or an old jar of American coins dated 1964 or earlier—bring what you have.
Katz Imports evaluates gold and silver coins, bullion and collectible U.S. currency. We consider both precious-metal content and collector value before discussing your options.
Bullion & coin collections.
We buy gold, silver and platinum bullion, including bars, rounds and fractional pieces, as well as U.S. and foreign gold and silver coins.
American Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, Sovereigns, pre-1933 U.S. gold, Morgan and Peace dollars, proof sets and mint sets are all welcome.
Dates, mint marks, condition, rarity and collector demand can add value beyond the metal. Keep coins in their holders and bring any cases, labels or grading paperwork. Please don’t clean them.
1964 or earlier? Take another look.
U.S. dimes, quarters and half dollars dated 1964 contain 90% silver, as do most earlier examples. Kennedy half dollars dated 1965–1970 contain 40% silver.
That old change may be worth more than face value—even when the coins are common or worn.
Bring them as-is. We’ll check their silver content and look for any additional collector value.
Have an old $500 bill?
We’d like to see it.
We evaluate collectible U.S. paper currency, including $500 bills, silver and gold certificates, older notes and inherited collections.
A note’s type, series, condition, serial number and rarity can affect its collector value. Not sure what you have? Let Katz Imports take a look.
Keep notes as-is—don’t clean, iron, laminate, tape or write on them. We evaluate U.S. paper currency only.
Inherited estates
When you inherit jewelry or valuables, it’s not always clear what’s valuable, what’s sentimental or where to begin.
Bring the jewelry box, the loose pieces, the watches that stopped working and the items you can’t identify. We’ll help you understand what you have before you decide what to do with it.
Sell some. Keep some. Repurpose something meaningful. You don’t have to make every decision at once.
Keep the connection. Make it yours.
A piece can mean everything to you and still sit unworn.
Through Katz Imports, we can repair or restore inherited jewelry, resize a ring or use its stones to create something you’ll wear. We’ll talk through the possibilities while respecting what makes it meaningful.
Bring it as-is.
No need to clean jewelry, polish silver or get stopped watches running before we see them. Leave coins untouched and mounted stones in their settings.
Bring any boxes, paperwork, grading reports or old appraisals you have—but don’t worry if you have none.
Not sure whether something belongs in the box? Bring it along.
An entire collection? Let’s talk.
Whether you’re handling one jewelry box or coordinating with several family members, start with a conversation.
Tell us what you have, and we’ll discuss the best way to review it—by appointment on Jewelers’ Row, through a house call or by insured shipping.
Appraisal & valuation events
Think “Antiques Roadshow”—right in your community room.
Our free appraisal events are a fun, relaxed way to discover what your jewelry, watches, sterling silver, coins and other tucked-away valuables may be worth. Bring something interesting, ask questions and hear what we can tell you about it.
Selling is optional.
Bring jewelry, diamonds, watches, sterling silver, coins, precious metals and qualifying items for a conversation with Katz Imports.
These are complimentary verbal valuations, not formal written professional appraisals. If someone chooses to sell, Katz Imports can accommodate them on the spot, with immediate payment available where appropriate.
If they decide not to sell, we’ll still be here next time they need a jeweler.
You’re meeting a family business with a permanent home on Philadelphia’s historic Jewelers’ Row. By coming directly to your community, we avoid the hotel-room rentals and advertising costs of traveling buying events—and pass those savings along through stronger offers.
For communities & clubs.
Condominium buildings, apartment communities, high-rises, 55+ and senior communities, country clubs, private clubs, organizations, associations and social groups.
Katz Imports has successfully conducted events throughout the Greater Delaware Valley and South Jersey. We can discuss timing and a format that fits your community.
Let’s put a date on the calendar.
Hosting is easy. Your property manager simply coordinates the space and date with us—we handle the event details and provide ready-to-send email copy and promotional materials to share with residents.
We’ll explain what residents can bring. No need to polish, sort or identify everything beforehand—that’s what we’re here for.
References from communities we’ve visited are available upon request.
Reach out.
Tell us about your building, organization or group and the dates you have in mind. We’ll discuss the next step.
Need a written appraisal?
Our events offer free verbal valuations. If you need a professional written appraisal for insurance, Katz Imports can arrange that separately.
House calls
Heavy flatware or unable to get into Center City? Ask about a visit at home.
Katz Imports offers house calls by appointment for a complimentary, no-obligation verbal valuation of what you have, on the spot. We’ll start with a phone conversation and may ask for a few photographs before arranging a visit.
Gemstones & gemstone jewelry
Colored stones. Worth a closer look.
Loose gemstones and gemstone jewelry are welcome, including colored-stone rings and sterling silver pieces, with or without grading reports. We consider the stones, metal and craftsmanship together.
Don’t remove stones, repair broken jewelry or clean pieces first. Bring everything as-is for a free verbal valuation, with no obligation to sell.
